Resin capsule storage guidelines

Correct Storage of resin capsules is essential to ensure effective performance.

• Capsules must be stored undercover in a cool, dry place, out of direct sunlight at all times. Ideally capsules should be stored underground or in a cool room as soon as possible after receipt. Insulated Cool Rooms with double entry (in and out doors) and air conditioning / refrigeration units are strongly recommended.
• Suggested shelf life is 4 months when stored between 20 to 25șC.
• Storage at higher temperatures will reduce the shelf life significantly.
• Storage at lower temperatures will increase the shelf life. For example storage at 10șC or lower will typically increase shelf life to between 5 - 7 months.
• When using cool room storage the resin capsules should be allowed time to attain ambient temperature before use otherwise SPIN and HOLD TIMES will be extended.
• Stock rotation must be practiced ie oldest material used first.

• Only quantities sufficient for a maximum of four weeks usage should be ordered.
• Try and plan for upturns or downturns in usage of resin capsules.
• Monitor stock levels carefully.
